Billings Teens Work with Florida and California Peers to Surpass Stereotypes
Teen from the Castle Rock Boys and Girls Club visited Florida this summer as members of the Youth for Unity Program. In the program, teens learn that there are as many ways to find unity as there are to differentiate. Read the article from the Billings Gazette at this link: Unity through Diversity

National Organization Cookbook has Billings Entries
The National Boys & Girls Club has created a cookbook as part of the Family PLUS program sponsored by Kimberly Clark. We have two recipes in the book. Cosette and Kevin McCave, from the Bair Family Club, submitted a recipe for Sweet & Sour Pork (on page 93). Deyon & Dejahn Dixon, from the Lockwood Club, submitted a recipe for Pink Lemonade Mouse Pie (on page 128). Changes at the Lockwood Clubhouse

Bair Family Kids Bring Holiday Cheer!
Members of the Bair Family Club on Orchard Avenue are made cards for residents of a local nursing home during the 2007 holiday season. This venture was part of a project to increase community service. Read the article from the Billings Gazette at this link:

The Billings Outlaws Inspire Club Members
During the fall of 2007, club members participated in flag football at the Outlaws' SportsPlex. There were over ninety 1st, 2nd & 3rd grade members on 8 teams with many parents and families in attendance to cheer on the players. The kids had plenty of smiles. The Outlaws players were terrific and seemed to have as much fun as the kids. The Outlaws coach, Herron O'Neil, summed up the players'' opinions by saying "I'm here to have fun."
