Sixteenth Annual Gordon L. Eldredge Dinner and Auction

The 16th annual Gordon L. Eldredge Dinner and Auction, a benefit for the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County, will be held on Friday, March 5, at the Billings Crowne Plaza Hotel. A social hour and silent auction, to the music of the Billings Senior High School String Quartet, begins at 6:00 p.m., followed by a gourmet dinner and live auction. The Live Auction will feature a wide selection of items, including trips to San Francisco and Seattle.

This year's theme,"Every Wish Begins with a Dream," focuses on the continued need to provide a safe place, filled with hope and opportunity, for thousands of area youth who attend one of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County's four clubhouses, said Jan Dietrich, director of development. Proceeds from the evening's Special Project will go toward the purchase of a much-needed bus to transport the Boys and Girls Club children to the clubhouses.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County have been serving young people since 1971. Each day, more than 600 kids attend their four clubhouses: the original Bair Family Clubhouse on Orchard Lane; the Castle Rock and Bench Clubhouses in Billings Heights; and the Lockwood Clubhouse. The Boys and Girls Clubs' trained professional staff delivers high-quality programs that emphasize education and career development, the arts, character development, life skills and sports and recreation. Membership to the Boys and Girls Clubs costs only $10 per school year.

Students who benefit from the Boys and Girls Clubs of Yellowstone County will be on hand to thank the evening's patrons for their continued support.

Tickets to the 16th annual Gordon L. Eldredge Dinner and Auction are $75, and table sponsorship is available. Attire for the evening is business casual.
